We do not want to create any scenarios where players feel they have to pay.
"To be able to clearly differentiate among the combat pass as well as Diablo 4's seasons, Piepiora explained that "the season's adventure is the same an integral part of Diablo 4, in the manner you played it with Diablo 3." The chapter-based mechanic offers players a variety of goals as they progress through the season and let players to earn game-related rewards to their character. "All of the seasonal content is totally free. It's not part of the battle pass itself," Shely adds. To make it clear what's going on, Shely explained that, in the event that Diablo 4 launches on June 6 2023, 2023, it will not be launched immediately following season one. "Season one will arrive several weeks after the release of the game, and at the time that season one starts it will all start at the same time, all players will be on an equal chance to play," the developer said.
