In the wake of the lawsuit, a number of prominent executives resigned from their posts within the company. On the 3rd of August, 2021. Blizzard CEO J. Allen Brack stepped down, and put Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra in the lead as co-leaders. The same day Blizzard's senior vice president for Global Human Resources, Jesse Meschuk, also quit. According to an earnings call, Activision Blizzard said it will "terminate any manager or leader" that impedes the business's integrity. Though each of Brack as well as Meschuk have left this company, it's not clear which of them was terminated. Activision Blizzard terminated either executive.
The quest sees players returning on the World of Warcraft capital of the Undercity that was the capital city of humans in Lordaeron as Sylvanas killed the entire city with a chemical weapon known as the Blight in the build-up for the games Battle for Azeroth expansion. Once the quest is complete, players will be given the "Of Lordaeron" title along with new eye color and skin tone options that are available for Blood Elves, Night Elves, and Void Elves to make them appear as similar to the game's Dark Rangers.
