It's possible to swap your plate body for RS Gold a fighter torso, unless you find you really need the extra defense (which you most likely don't) I'm of the opinion that torag's platelegs are the best defensive stats as far as barrow's platelegs go.
Otherwise, your setup will be perfect for taking on. The only improvements you could truly make are a Skillcape as well as Soul Wars Cape, and a Chaotic Rapier. Also, if you're planning to buy Fury / Bandos I'd suggest buying the Fury first since it's the cheapest , but it offers better rewards than bandos tassets. Best of luck.
I'd be honest and say that there isn't any one that's worth learning. All of them are valuable to some degree, and only training one won't help you in the long term. With that said there are a few suggestions as well as the reasoning behind them:
Construction. One you can have the portal room, a menagerie and a prayer altar, which is extremely beneficial. The portal room is really helpful, particularly so in the beginning of your time as a member and most of the teleports used by members are within the room. The POH is also ideal for storage, it holds almost every tool, all books, and a lot of armour and other clothing.
Agility is also extremely beneficial when you reach 21. This is vital so that you can take advantage of the Varrock-Edgeville shortcut. And getting it higher can be extremely beneficial in Buy RS3 Gold running through monsters, large areas of questing, and even PKers (true experience here). Making it at least 21 should be one of primary things that you try to do.
