Born and bred in Flatbush, Brooklyn, and raised
by Jamaican parents, it's no wonder that Selah the Storyteller would be drawn to
reggae. Recent appearances include BlogTalkRadio.com on Queen U Nique’s Queen
Speaks, Sun of Man and Sankara’s DeHitmen, Nitebreaks with Epiphany and
Trulyblessed and many others. He began his journey as a spokenword artist at the
famed NuYorican Cafe in NY back in 1992 and through his travels has developed a
style all his own. His Christian upbringing has behooved him to make his debut a
gospel project. "Diving into the Sky" will be his first CD and it combines
powerful gospel lyrics with hardcore reggae rhythms and intense spoken word. He
says that with Yah's blessing it should be releasing in Summer 2010.
