Troubled Amy Winehouse may have cancelled her UK comeback gig, but the singer is still plugging away at her third album – and was even spotted touting her guitar across a sandy St Lucia beach.

Dressed in her island uniform of hotpants and a bikini top, and displaying a collection of painful looking bruises on her legs, the singer scampered up and down the shore with her instrument and even paused to chat with some sunbathers.

The 25-year-old has been on the Caribbean isle since December last year, and shows no sign of coming back to Britain.
