Soca songstress Destra Garcia yesterday congratulated Fay-Ann Lyons-Alvarez on winning her third Road March title. According to the official count, Lyons-Alvarez’ “Meet Super Blue” played a total of 410 times while Garcia’s “Bacchanal” was played 76 times.


Garcia yesterday said she was not surprised Lyons-Alvarez won.


“I am happy for Fay-Ann. I knew she was going to win because she had the support of the DJs. She worked hard, there is no doubt about that, and being pregnant it could not have been easy.
