Serani and his road manager were robbed of their wallets, jewellery and money. Jones-Griffith explained that clues seemed to point to persons at the show from which the artistes were coming. He said: "They (Serani and his road manager) were booked in a hotel far from the venue and no one followed them from the venue to the hotel. It was the promoter who dropped them off.
