THOKOZANI Dube, son
of murdered reggae icon Lucky Dube, testified about the night his
father died in the Johannesburg High Court on Thursday, SABC radio news
reported.

Thokozani Dube testified that his father was shot at close range on the night of October 18, 2007.

The 22-year-old said he was standing outside his father?s car when they
were accosted by three men who ordered them out of the car.

He got back into the car shortly before he saw one of the men firing
two shots at his father. Thokozani then fled while screaming for help.

The accused are Sifiso Mhlanga, Julius Gxowa and Mbuti Mabe. ? Sapa
