Images of Jamaica are often associated with serenity and beauty, and after a recent trip, I can rightly justify those images that are conjured from thoughts of an "irie" feeling. Along the hills and the rolling beaches is a quaint, yet luxurious, resort that caters to the locals and the tourists: the Coyaba Resort.
Upon walking through the breezy entrance to the Coyaba, I was immediately greeted--at 10pm--with a traditional Jamaican welcome: rum and banana bread. This not only fulfilled the hunger from the long flight, but also showcased the generosity and local hospitality of the Jamaican people.
