As of May 2025, GTA 5 continue to experience a variety of bugs and technical issues, particularly affecting the PC Enhanced Edition and online gameplay. Despite Rockstar’s ongoing patches, some problems remain persistent or have newly emerged GTA 5 Enhanced Accounts.
1. FPS Cap Issues: The game appears capped at 120 FPS even when V-Sync and frame limiters are disabled, which is problematic for players with high-refresh-rate monitors. This is believed to be a workaround for underlying engine issues, as the RAGE engine reportedly has problems running above 165 FPS.
2. Graphical Glitches: Enabling tessellation causes graphical artifacts for some users, even with high-end hardware like RTX 4090 GPUs. Disabling tessellation is currently the only fix.
3. Keybinding and Chat Problems: The T and Y keys, typically used for in-game text chat, cannot be bound or used, effectively disabling text chat functionality. Some players note the complete removal of online chat.
4. Crashes and Stability: Random crashes persist, including crashes when accessing the casino or driving on highways. Rockstar has fixed some crash issues in recent patches but some remain.
5. VRAM and DLSS Issues: Earlier updates caused the game to run out of VRAM unexpectedly and had problems with DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling). Recent patches have addressed many of these issues but not all players are fully satisfied GTA 5 Money.
6. Miscellaneous Bugs: Other bugs include missing vehicle paint persistence, problems with receiving certain weapons or rewards, and issues with organization leader loading screens during missions.
