It is necessary to determine the priorities as early as possible to achieve success in life and career. My vision is to be a successful woman. A good example is Her Excellency Reem Ebrahim Al Hashimy, who, in my opinion, is definitely successful (United Arab Emirates Cabinet, n.d.). In regard to the vision, my mission is to be well-educated and skilled in order to benefit society and, at the same time, have credibility. I believe my personal values such as result-orientation, competence, determination, and tolerance will guide my work. To my mind, these values multiplied by knowledge and experience can guarantee success in any organization. I have formed several key goals which I want to achieve after graduation. First of all, I want to get a Master’s degree in Finance, and later a PhD. My second goal is to get a job in a big and authoritative company like ADNOC (ADNOC, n.d.). The third goal is to start up my own business. Thus, both the crystallization of the vision and mission and the definition of goals will help formulate a clear action plan for achieving a professional objective.

It is essential to identify what drives me toward my intentions. My mission is to live a full life, to be useful for society as a whole and obtain personal benefits. The purpose is entirely consistent with my aim of becoming a successful woman and helping to assert the role of a woman-professional in our society. At the same time, I have identified the following key questions which manage the choice of my goals:

· What do I need to do in order to build a successful career in finance?

· What do I need to do to gain a valuable work experience?

· Do I want to be a hired employee throughout my entire career?

These questions direct my choice of goals and formulate a concrete action plan for the nearest future. In particular, the steps of the plan are tied to obtaining a decent education, a work in a big company and starting my own business. Hence, I have clarified the internal drivers which determine my goals.

Labor market analysis is important to understand the prospects of employment. As for the experience, I plan to get it on my first job. I believe that to become a successful leader, I have to work as a subordinate and understand all the peculiarities and processes in the organization. In addition, it is important to comprehend what the labor market offers. In 2016, federal and local government agencies employed 78.5 percent of the emirate and 6 percent of foreigners (Bel-Air, 2018). Work in this company might help to understand the peculiarities of the governmental business and assert the role of a woman-professional. Also, all of the labor options above can help analyze the advantages and disadvantages of further setting up my own business. Thus, the labor market is full of offers for specialists in finances, and I have identified the companies where I would like to occupy the position.

Marketing and Implementation Strategy

Competition among young specialists is always intense; thus, it is necessary to differ from other candidates in measures of quality. I would like to start my career in a governmental company ADNOC (ADNOC, n.d.). My marketing positioning statement is: “I work for the sake of success: the company's, the country's, and my own”. I believe that successful people create a successful company and country. The value I offer to the employer is the desire to develop and work for the prosperity of the company. I plan to get a Master's degree and a PhD in the nearest future, which will allow me to expand the knowledge and apply for senior positions. I know that I can adapt quickly and apply new knowledge in practice. In addition, I always put maximum efforts when it comes to what I really like. I think that is what distinguishes me from my potential competitors among the graduates of UAE universities. I believe that if a person does what he/she love with enthusiasm and dedication, success will undoubtedly come. Therefore, both my positioning statement and my values distinguish me from the other students.

Risks and Mitigation

I believe that success is determined by the society in which I live. Each person feels the impact of socialization, and the self-perception of success depends partly on how our environment reacts to what we do. Personally, I consider that being successful means to be useful to your country, to feel appropriate and to have the relevant remuneration and authority. However, I can face external risks that might stop my progress. The first major risk is that the knowledge gained during my education might not satisfy the requirements of employers. I can overcome this barrier if I work part-time while studying. This way, I will immediately understand how the theory corresponds to the practice and will have time to fill the gaps. Another risk is that I will not get the job in the desired company. In this case, I must have knowledge, confidence, be able to present myself as a specialist, be persuasive. I need to work on a CV, because it is the first step in presenting me as a good specialist. Finally, I can face the failure of my business. A possible way to avoid this is to consider the business plan carefully, and get support from experienced colleagues. Thus, I can meet the obstacles on the way to the goal, but it is important to think in advance and plan the ways of overcoming risks.

I must admit that I have experienced a failure while studying at school. Once, I wanted to arrange my friend's birthday party and decided to perform all the tasks by myself. Thus, I painted the posters, bloated the balls, invited the guests, and formed a menu. As a result, I did not have time to do the work properly, I was nervous, and did not sleep all night. After that, I realized that asking for help is necessary, because one person is not able to do everything. This understanding will definitely help me in my work because the rational and timely delegation of the tasks might become a guarantee of successful performance. Therefore, to develop my personal and professional skills, I have to learn from my mistakes.

I believe that when a manager sets a task that involves a violation of ethics, I should not disregard my principles. I plan to perform my work honestly and to comply with the ethical code of the organization in which I will work.
