The offense is stale. It's been improved with the inclusion of Amari Cooper but it's really not that different. It's just Amari Cooper playing Madden nfl 24 Coins. Thursday was an excellent example.
This touchdown came from a small catch, followed by a long jog. The second was a solid catch in triple coverage and Cooper got loose and used his speed to take it home. Cooper's been worthy of the first-round draft selection so far and the people who claimed he was not will need to reconsider our opinions. While Cooper has helped make the offense more efficient but I'm not convinced he's improved Dak Prescott significantly better.
What Cooper did is open up the run game a bit. Patchwork Cowboys offensive line ran well yesterday. It was once their recipe for success and now they're back to it. They do, however, have one formula for success. This isn't a recipe that will allow them to win over the long haul, however.
One of the best things the Cowboys have to offer is their defense. It's fast. It's physicaland can snuff out passers. It's the defense that offers them a chance to win every single week. I am awed by watching the defense play. They will play the Saints on Thursday as a result, and they'll face the most rigorous test. We will be able to judge them more clearly after that game.
