The initial major announcement on April's agenda is WoW D2R Items, the rumoured next World of Warcraft expansion that first leaked in advance but was confirmed long afterwards. As the Dragon Isles lurking on the near horizon, Unknown Worlds also confirmed that we'd be diving into the water again, this time with Subnautica 3 - release date to be confirmed.The artistic direction of Diablo 4, which leans heavily on the inspiration of the medieval or Old Masters paintings, applies to character creation as well. There are options for hairstyles with green hues as well as vibrant body paints, custom characters within Diablo 4 look grounded and real -- not as though they've come from some episode from Monster Factory, or out of a Saints Row cutscene.
There are dozens of hair colors and skin tones as well as, in the demo build we played this weekend, there were four feminine and four masculine faces per class. (The game does not seem to be using male or female descriptors of its characters, however, it's a good idea to consider it.) The game also included 10 hairstyles that were unisex, which included pixie cut styles with close-cropped cuts hairstyles with long flowing ponytails tied-up dreadlocks, and tight natural curls. Additionally, there's a number of pieces of jewelry. There's quite a lot.Makeup and body paints can be used in a fashion that is thematically appropriate as well as, again, non-sex. If you're looking for dark eyeshadow for your Barbarian dude, go for it. It looks good. If you want some painted corpse smeary to paint your Necro you can find it too.
What players will not find is a broad range of body types, at a minimum for Diablo 2 Resurrected buy items each class. The Barbarian is suitably beefy and ripped for their role within Diablo 4's five classes. The class of Sorcerer/Sorceress seems strong enough to carry books or wands. However, they're far from as lean and athletic than the Rogue.
