I'm a big fan of the way the Giants are doing at the moment. The way they're doing it is similar to four years ago , when the Giants had a playoff run and won they won the Super Bowl. They're a well-established team. Its defensive line strong and will make life difficult for the opposing quarterback.
Eli Manning is good enough to win a Super Bowl with. The Giants have plenty of things going for them. The reason they're not ranked higher is due to them being a somewhat inconsistent to my taste. They went 9-7 during the regular season. And although they appear to be becoming hot, I'm unable to rate them higher than teams who have been more consistent over the past 18 weeks.
It's hard to look at Texans to not be thinking "All of them are on offense with no defensive." That's the old Texans. The current Texans team has been built on defense as Wade Phillips has transformed that unit into one the best in the league. The running game, along with the defense is great. It's just a league about quarterbacks and the Texans lack in this department. This isn't a knock at T.J. Yates.
