However an incredibly vocal part made up of Activision, Blizzard WOTLK Gold , and King employees, dubbed The ABK Workers Alliance, has not yet had all four of its demands for a more inclusive workplace met by company leadership. These demands include the end of forced arbitration, the implementation of more inclusive hiring and recruitment practices, increased transparency of pay by utilizing compensation metrics, and an audit of the company's policies to be done by a neutral third party.
"We are aware of the work we need to complete to restore the trust of the community. I know we as a leader group within Blizzard have a lot to do in order to regain our team's trust and the trust of our employees." -- WoW game director Ion Hazzikostas
A few of these demands are now, after many months of silence, accepted by the leadership. In a letter from Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick published online ahead of the company's investor call, Kotick said the company is looking to adopt the "strictest harassment and non-retaliation guidelines of any company." Kotick also stated that the company would increase the number of women and non-binary employees by 50%.
He also said the company will be investing $250 million "to expand opportunities for diverse talent." Kotick was also determined to stop the practice of forced arbitration in claims of discrimination and harassment. The company is also planning to increase transparency in pay also as Kotick saying that the company would be releasing pay cheap WOW WOTLK Classic Gold equity reports every year.
