In some cases it was the case that players were given an overall score which appears to be higher than it should and in other situations, players are rated lower than they most likely deserve NBA 2K23 MT. It could stem from many factors like top players who are judged as average or legendary players that aren't on par with their counterparts.
It's fair to say that the 78-point rating isn't among the top performers in the game but it's probably to be too much for Donte DiVencenzo of the Milwaukee Bucks. However, that doesn't mean he's lacking as a player but he's certainly not up to par with the quality of players that are ranked within the same area the same league as him.
For example DiVincenzo had solid statistics (10.4ppg, 5.8rpg) and performed well in defense, but he's certainly not a player who would be ranked in the same space as shooters like Tyler Herro and Buddy Hield and defenders like Draymond Green. He's a decent player on a team that is a champion but isn't on the verge of stardom.
On the same thought process the 97 overall score is certainly among the most impressive scores a player can receive. It's even more than any active player has in NBA 2K23 since the highest graded players in the game are LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Steph Curry, who are all tied with 96.
Yet, Dwyane Wade's 97 feels somewhat low considering who he is. Wade is widely recognized as one of the three greatest basketball players in the history of the league following Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant NBA 2K MT For Sale. They both have a 99 and 98 , respectively, Wade at 97 seems adequate. However, it ties him with other stars like Walt Frazier and Steve Nash even though they're great, aren't in Wade's class.
