In the NBA Playoffs currently underway, 2K Games uses NBA 2K22 to play the teams and predict which two teams will take part in the Final. In the world of video games, 2K Games attempts to predict the NBA Final, using NBA 2K22 to model the entire tournament as they did with NBA 2K21.
The simulation is constructed by using in the NBA Playoffs mode and entering every team in the correct position in order to accurately portray the real-life structure. NBA 2K22 then plays the games using an automated system, and plays out every playoff round by determining who won each game and moving them to the next round.
The first round had few surprises, since most of the top teams smashed their foes with ease. The games that featured teams lower in the rankings were thrilling in particular for the Mavericks and Jazz combination, which played for the entire seven games despite the absence of NBA 2K22's cover player Luka Doncic in the first game and two.
Perhaps the biggest surprise is the seventh seed Brooklyn Nets defeating the second-seed Boston Celtics in six games, mostly because the Celtics are in a 2-0 lead in the first round. The only prediction that's most likely to come true is the Philadelphia 76ers winning the Toronto Raptors, as the series is currently 3-1 in Philadelphia's favor.
The second game of the round saw The Phoenix Suns takedown Doncic and the Mavericks in six games while the Grizzlies knock off the Warriors in six games. The 76ers continue to establish their dominance in the postseason thanks to Ja Morant who remains one of the top players in NBA 2K22, defeating the Miami Heat in five games. The Bucks beat the Nets in an exciting seven-game series Cheap NBA 2K22 MT, placing the ball in the air for an exciting pair of Conference Finals.
