By default, using the official Instagram app for iOS, it is quite possible to save your own stories, including automatically after publication. Unfortunately, in the case of other people's stories, you will have to resort to more complex methods presented later in this article.

With the help of special online services, you can save stories from Instagram, including other people's content, but only if the author has an open account. In general, this method can be considered the most recommended since it only requires going to the website and providing minimal data.

Images are automatically saved to the Downloads folder. However, if you are trying to download a video, in addition, on a new tab with the player, you will have to click on the icon with three dots in the lower right corner and use the item "Download."

By analogy with photos, you can find the final file in downloads or galleries. In addition, depending on the browser settings, in each case, you may be offered an independent choice of a place in the memory of the iOS device.

Option 2: Insta Story

Another online service for downloading stories from Instagram, available at the link below, works almost the same as the previous one, but with a few differences. After navigating to the site, tap the "Username or link" text box and fill in according to the profile URL or the username of the story's author.

After waiting for the account to finish loading, scroll down the page below and go to the "Stories" tab. Here you need to select the content that you want to download to the smartphone's memory.

Method 4: Bot for Telegram

In addition to third-party applications aimed only at expanding the capabilities of Instagram, you can also download stories using Telegram bots. To complete this task, first of all, without fail, download and install the appropriate messenger, not forgetting about subsequent authorization.
