Even some of the playbooks such as Arizona could use better notion overlap between formations. Option route logic needs to be enhanced. Rather than studying leverage and space Madden has it based on policies. For example against cover 2 a path is supposed to conduct a series and get in the hole above a corner and below the safety. This forces the receiver to an route against a could level which will never be available.
Quarter flats need to be fixed so they understand their assignment and don't follow drags. I don't need them running into 40 yards downfield or the side of the area. As long story short, Madden 22 should be a much better game than Madden 20 while still having lots of issues that need to be fixed. That is coming from my perspective as somebody who likes passing the ball and tries my best to conduct an air raid offense as sensible as you can with the adaptations I want to create for madden, and a match policy defense based around real world principles awarded the limitations and bugs of Madden.
