A player runs up to us and RuneScape gold asks for food. He was hoping to complete Dragon Slayer. Someone on the dock fished/cooked 22 lobsters for him. While doing so, we requested his stats. His response was (roughly ) level 40 attack, 40 strength, 40 defense, very low level ranged&magical, 15 prayer. He had a rune scimitar, an amulet of energy, adamant platebody, rune platelegs, anti-dragonfire protect, boots from the Barbarian Village Dungeon. I remember reading about exactly what att/str/def level you ought to be at, and what armor/food/supplies you should bring, so I told him that too wearing a (rune total ) helmet could be useful if he was likely to confront Elvarg. However, the man went directly for the battle with Elvarg. I stopped fishing and chose to see the battle. (Aside: Here is about what I defeated Elvarg with. Be aware that I wasn't quite curious about Runescape quests once I played, therefore I probably could have attempted the Dragon Slayer quest sooner than I did... Attack 41, Power 55, Defense 45, prayer 43. Two strength potions, holy symbol, 26 lobsters, rune longsword, complete rune helm, rune chainbody, rune platelegs, regular boots, security gauntlets, anti-dragonfire shield. I attracted armor/supplies close to what Sal's website recommends. I'd suggest the very same armor/supplies to anyone trying to defeat Elvarg, except an amulet of power in place of the holy emblem, and a rune scimitar in place of the rune longsword).
The guy did a fantastic job of defeating Elvarg! He did not turn on prayer at all. (Aside: I recall Elvarg being tough to defeat. The weird thing is, for each of the greater att/str/def/prayer/armor I had, it looked like he had an easier battle against Elvarg than that did. I understand that it is probably because I was not facing the dragonfire myself, that it seemed easier when he fought the dragon than once I did. I guess the requirements for Dragon Slayer aren't as elevated as I believed? What att/str/def/prayer level did you conquer Elvarg with?
(2) I wasn't wearing any armor whilst fishing at Musa Point. When the guy headed for the volcano, I did not have the time to rush to the bank and find some armor. So I went . I ran past it followed me. I was busy watching the guy fight Elvarg, but I did have auto-retaliate on. I kept a watch on what was going on about me while watching the fight against Elvarg. I was able to conquer the Lesser Demon with kicking. The Elvarg battle was not yet finished, along with a skeleton decided it wanted to fight meso I defeated the horns with auto-retaliate hanging, also. I had not before attempted to defeat a Lesser Demon by minding - it was a fantastic experience.
Which F2P creature provides the best total loot? *NOT* the most valuable single item drop, but the most value during a lengthy session of defeating the stated given creature? I have seen a number of people pick level 83 cockroach soldiers at the Stronghold of Player Safety. Therefore a member finding that the cockroach soldiers give really good drops, that cheap OSRS gold does not count as a good F2P fall (that is a P2P drop).
