I've return following a three year break to OSRS buy gold and looked to make some gp. My friend suggested me to do"protected reverents" I have looked into what it was because I stopped playing before revs where originally added. There are bunch of rs youtubers playing clans for protection to do revs. If you attempt to perform it without security you receive pk'd later 2-3 rev kills. I am not sure if having greatest money making process available only by paying clans is fantastic for RuneScape? Just how on earth passed anyhow? It appears so dumb that you just use some bracelet plus they do no damage to you.
I am sympathetic to the sentiment here to a degree, it's a shame that some content (particularly in the wildy multi zones) is just much harder as a Royal RuneScape participant. But it doesn't stand alone as the best money maker, and I think this organically-generated dymanic of RuneScape player protection (that is quite widespread but is not totally omnipresent) balances it pretty well concerning risk/reward overall and is just part of the motive RuneScape is amazing. I think that it fits in the wilderness. The problem is revs, it is they're able to run a protection racket. Revs wasn't balanced in order to be farmed without being upset.
If the clans weren't making BANK off individuals they wouldn't bother locking down worlds for months at a time. It is a bizarre thing because in some ways it should be wholly permitted, but it will completely ruin the balance - and nerfing it to stop protected ppl making bank would ruin it for everybody else. Perhaps unpopular opinion: I like the mafia shakedown protection ring facet of it. Its wilderness that is the afterall. I just hate that the security is provided by shitty individuals like RoT.
I mean that's its purpose. What is wrong with having content that needs you to collect a team to do it? The problem isn't the caves that the problem is a deficiency of clans that are strict on who can combine that go there to do anything so its almost. You are either in a pk clan using a bunch if bizarre and at times pointless requirements, or you're paying 10 mil minimum simply to go pvm"safely" for a bit.
The neighborhood is retarded. The two for voting in paying and Indices to kill revs. It is benefit for certain if you invest dumb hours playing but it's really fucking dull and the protections clans literally provide 0 fucks about you. You WILL die irrespective of how you die and you'll be taxed for some reason. The clans have enormous ego's that they honestly shouldn't have however they're that annoying that people will pay them just to runescape 3 gold fuck off. They're literally meme.
