Tarpon can be caught both in the ocean and in inshore intracoastal waterways, back country estuaries and even hybrid water canals and rivers. Normally the smaller tarpon are found in these backwater areas. Our Tarpon half mounts are anatomically correct half fish replicas that are intended to be displayed on the wall. A half sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. We do not custom paint our half mounts but regular paint schedule is to paint the tarpon "lit up" and alive which is most likely what you are looking for and what most customers really appreciate with a brownish gold back with hues of green which blend to a silvery side and white belly. The final step is to clear coat the tarpon with a UV Protective Urethane clear coat. These beautiful tarpon are perfect pieces of decoration for your new house, office or Florida room.

Installation Of Your Tarpon Mount

Your new Tarpon half mount will arrive with a resin hanger attached to the backside of the half mount that runs parallel to the ground. Hold the half mount up on the wall, mark the spot where the hanger touches the wall, drill in a couple screw or hammer in a couple nails and then hang your new Tarpon half mount.
