I had recently read in the news that the mayor of New York Michael R. Bloomberg had dropped the idea of banning electronic cigarette and cigarette displays in stores.  I think it is very thoughtful of him. Now we can even see the display of big and best electronic cigarette brands in stores that are near us. I am really found of these electric cigarettes because they simply mimic the act of smoking without letting us inhale the dangerous chemicals that are present in the regular traditional cigarettes. These devices are far better than the regular ones.

But all this think made we wonder that what will be the impact of this on children. I mean that how would you explain your children about these devices when they will ask about it. I think some regulation or some think more effective needs to be done in this case. I am not against these vapor cigarettes but my concern for children is more. Moreover the increasing the minimum age to buy e cigarette from 18 to 21 years is not a good idea. I think Bloomberg played smarty regarding these water vapor cigarettes. This simply means that if you need to buy electronic cigarette you need to be at least 21 years of age.

I don’t understand that if we can vote at the age of 18 year why cant vape these vapor cigs at 18? We are mature enough at 18 to decide what is right for us what is wrong. I think it is totally pointless in increasing the age limit. At present the e cig industry is booming and the sales of these battery operated device is all time high. But is this proposed law gets implemented, the sales will be down considerably. Moreover I think we are smart enough to know the difference between the cheap e cigarette in terms of quality and price.
