I have
read that they are now writing to the FDA to hurry up and implement regulations
on e cigarette industry as it seems to be a bit slow. All thanks to the recent
report from the CDC that between 2011 and 2012 the number of teen’s vaping electronic
cigarettes had doubled. Whilst at first it is troubling, and really it is, the
main thing that people do not realize is that the problem is arising and we
need to do something to get hold of the situation.
I
have been vaping for some time now and I thoroughly enjoy my Green
Smoke electronic cigarette over the regular cigarette. Moreover instead
of going through the snow and going to the mall to purchase a refill or a kit,
it is easier for me to order it online and avoid the effort, time as well as
the mark-up that the retailer puts on top. The problem is that a bank or any
other financial institution cannot issue a minor with a credit card or any
other form of financial privilege that can be used for doing online shopping.
And these are the only forms of financial payment that e cigarette online shops
take.
This then means that a minor will have to use
cash in order to get an e cigarette. And the only place that they will be able
to use cash is at a retail shop, thus that is where there can get them, the
only way I feel to protect minors is to ban the physical selling of e
cigarettes at retail outlets and only allow them to be bought online from the
brands website of different electronic
cigarette reviews website.
I am
not saying that regulation is a bad thing, no, I am all for it but let us not
use a cannon to kill a roach, rather lets use the regulation to ensure that the
e cig will be mage further safe and better.
