| Jetsetting Central Pulse and Jamaica defender Althea Byfield swapped
notes with fellow ANZ Championship imports in England last week in
preparation for her first Wellington season. Byfield, 26, arrived yesterday after a lengthy trip from Kingston, Jamaica, to complete the Pulse roster of 12 players.
The dual netball and basketball international spent just four days
at home in Kingston off the back of the three-test series in England,
from which players from both sides were preparing to fly out within
days to the southern hemisphere.
