time during the game. Although the score was close, the margin could have been
greater as Mexico missed several scoring chances.
The team opened the
scoring early in the first minute of the game, but several chances after that
left goal scorer Guillermo Franco frustrated with the missed opportunities.
"We're aware that as forwards we failed," Franco said. "But I don't
think it's because we underestimated our rival. I don't think it's because we
