Hosts T&T crushed Netherlands Antilles in straight sets to claim top spot in the women’s North Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (Norceca) Group C Second Round tournament of the 2010 FIVB World Championship.

The one-week tournament that was also used as a test event for next month’s Caribbean Games concluded at the UWI St Augustine on Saturday night. The “Calypso Spikers” won 25-16, 25-16, 25-11 to advance to the next round in Cuba from June 21-23 and will come up against Guatemala, Nicaragua and the host.
