NEWLY installed National Security Minister Senator Dwight Nelson says an all-out attack on criminal networks in at least 10 parishes will be among his first course of action as his administration tries to get a handle on the country's crime problem.

In his first address to the nation last night - an almost half-hour-long televised and radio broadcast in which he declared that he was prepared to face the challenges that come with his new assignment - Senator Nelson said there will be renewed focus on taking down the "leaders and supporters" of criminal networks.
