Trinidad MP accuses government of silencing opposition

People's National Movement (PNM) to bring her before the Privileges
Committee is nothing more than another naked attempt to
intimidate/silence her and the opposition in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Trinidad Guardian reported that Persad-Bissessar said they
wanted to silence her "for making valid criticisms of the government
for their perceived abuse of State power, corruption and mismanagement
