The pilot of a CanJet flight that was commandeered by a would-be hijacker in Jamaica says he and his crew are "touched" by the praise heaped on them by Canadians but "we certainly don't feel like heroes."

"We did what we had to do and what we were trained to do," Capt. James Murphy said yesterday in a statement issued through CanJet.
