The matter is to be discussed at the Summit of the Americas in Port of Spain, Trinidad from April 17-19.
Ambassador Jeffery Davidow, an advisor to US President Barack Obama, said he will engage leaders of Caribbean and other nations in discussions towards addressing issues of public safety and security.
Leaders of 34 democracies in the Americas will deliberate for two days in Trinidad.
