During the profiling exercise, the lawmen came across two mail bags, which in their opinion, looked suspicious. Immediately, the police reported their suspicions to the post officer on duty at the airport. The mailbags were opened by customs and narcotics officers and the drugs were found.

One of the bags contained two brown packages each containing the class B drug amounting to 22 pounds 12 ounces. That bag was destined for Dominica, however, when the bag was opened, the packages had an Antiguan address on the inside.
