The R&B singer Chris Brown was charged with two felonies on Thursday — assault likely to cause bodily injury and making criminal threats citing court documents. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in Los Angeles early on the morning of Feb. 8 in which Mr. Brown fought with a female passenger in his car. The woman has not been identified by the police. Mr. Brown was arrested that night, booked on suspicion of making a criminal threat and released on bail.
