Thirty Thousand (30,000) Haitians have been ordered to leave the country by U.S. immigration authorities. But, Haitian officials say they're not going to issue the travel documents the thousands of Haitians need in order to return to their native country. The U.S. had put in a 3 month break in Haitian deportations that ended on December 5.
The break in deportations was due to the heavy damage inflicted on the Haitian island during the 2008 hurricane season. Haitian officials said the storm needs more time to recover and can't handle the influx of its citizens.
