100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale, in partnership with WHQT-FM 105 HOT 105 will host a Community Forum on July 24, 2008 to view and discuss the CNN documentary special: Black in America, The Black Man.

“Our expectation is that the documentary will be thought-provoking and spark much-needed dialogue regarding the roles of Black men in America,” said Dennis Wright, President of the 100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale.

As a result of the program’s content, Mr. Wright says, “It is not only appropriate for us to host this event; we feel it is our responsibility to do so as Black men and leaders of our community.”

The Black In America Community Forum is a free event and open to the public. Seating is limited and will be available on a first come basis.
