that started on Friday forced the Cheddi Jagan International Airport to
shut down its operations on Sunday.
The Kaieteur News reported that, as a result, two Caribbean Airlines
flights to Guyana from Trinidad were cancelled, leaving a large number
of Guyana-bound passengers stranded in Trinidad.
