The Executive Board of the Marlin Awards is sad to report the death of one of our nominees this year, gospel dancehall-recording artist Kasim 'Moses' Grant (1980-2009). According to online media reports, Moses was found dead in a gully in Gordon Town, St. Andrews, Jamaica this past Tuesday January 27th. Moses was apparently involved in a shooting incident the night before where one man was injured.
